An estimated 23.1 percent of US adults experienced any mental illness in a recent twelve-month period, around 59.3 million people (NIMH). The Stepwell Center treats nine of the conditions that account for the largest share of that figure, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, and grief. Care is delivered in Lakeway, Texas across four outpatient levels: PHP, IOP, Evening IOP, and Outpatient.
Roughly half of adults with a mental illness do not receive treatment in a given year (SAMHSA NSDUH). Closing that gap requires more than scheduling, it requires care matched closely enough to keep people engaged. Stepwell's response is the Prescribed Care Model. Every plan begins with a 2 to 3 day comprehensive assessment that integrates clinical interview, qEEG brain mapping, pharmacogenetic testing, and standardized psychological testing. The output is a written plan matched to your clinical profile, not slotted into a curriculum.
From there, your care moves along the standard outpatient continuum (ASAM Criteria). PHP is the most structured, then IOP, then Evening IOP for working adults, then standard Outpatient for maintenance and step-down. You move between levels as your needs change, without changing clinical teams. All four levels are delivered at our Lakeway, Texas facility, just off Ranch Road 620 in the Lake Travis corridor.
