Your prescribed plan addresses every active condition together rather than in sequence.

Your level of care is decided by your comprehensive assessment, not by what you select at intake. The 2 to 3 day assessment integrates clinical interview, qEEG brain mapping, pharmacogenetic testing, and standardized psychological testing. From there, your prescribed plan recommends starting in PHP, IOP, Evening IOP, or Outpatient. The placement framework follows the ASAM Criteria, the standard outpatient continuum.

Outpatient treatment fits when symptoms are interfering with daily life but do not require 24-hour medical supervision. The Stepwell Center commonly serves four situations: symptoms that have worsened despite weekly therapy alone, a recent inpatient discharge that needs structured step-down, a new diagnosis that needs an evidence-based starting point, or a co-occurring substance use and mental health pattern that has not yet been addressed together. A brief admissions screen by phone, followed by the comprehensive assessment, confirms fit before any program begins.
