Care draws from the south-shore communities of Lakeway, Bee Cave, and Westlake and West Lake Hills, the western reaches around Spicewood, the southern Hill Country corridor through Dripping Springs, and the north-shore communities including Lago Vista, Hudson Bend, Volente, and Briarcliff. Stepwell offers both in-person care at the Lakeway facility and telehealth for components of an individualized care plan. The more intensive group programming inside PHP and IOP is delivered in person, since the group container is part of what makes those levels work. Individual therapy, family sessions, and medication-management visits can run virtually for patients on the further side of the lake, with the prescribed plan naming which sessions are in-person and which can be telehealth.

Same-day or next-day admission to the 2 to 3 day comprehensive assessment is the standard at The Stepwell Center, including for residents across the Lake Travis corridor. After admission, your assessment output is used to write a prescribed care plan that names the right starting program. Initial inquiry to admission decision typically takes one to two business days, with insurance verification running in parallel.

Yes, most outpatient programs are scheduled to fit around work. IOP runs about 9 to 10 hours per week, Evening IOP meets in the evening for daytime professionals, and the Outpatient program is the lightest level for ongoing maintenance. PHP requires more daytime availability; most patients in PHP arrange a temporary leave or a reduced schedule until they step down to IOP. Many Lake Travis professionals pair Evening IOP with daytime work in downtown Austin, the Domain, or the Galleria corridor.
